Cheryl SimsOwner & ManagerCheryl's involvement in the horse industry spans decades. Her love of the sport and passion for running horse shows was driven by her daughter, Alison, who grew up riding, and is now an Atlanta area professional. Cheryl saw how much joy the horses and showing brought Alison and wanted to be able to see that same joy happen for more riders. For many years, Cheryl served as a show secretary, and in 2003 she founded Cheryl & Co. Since then she has become an influential member of our sport in the Southeast. She currently runs Cheryl & Company, The Louisiana Classics, ECCO Events, and Coastal Hunter Jumper. She has served on the GHJA Board of Directors for many years and is responsible for much of the growth and development of our sport in Georgia. Cheryl is influential in working with the City of Alpharetta, and in 2018 she founded the Wills Park Equestrian Foundation, which will help benefit the renovation of Will's Park Equestrian Center.

Jay SimsOwner & ManagerJay started as a “Britmohr Barn Bro” who was always around at shows as a young kid, while his sister, Alison, was competing. Once in high school, he started working at the horse shows helping run the gates. Jay continued to run gates at the shows and dabbled in management through college. Jay attended Georgia Tech, where he earned his degree in management and entrepreneurship. After school Jay came back to the horses and family business. He has dedicated his time to the improvement and excellence of the horse shows. He currently serves as the President of the Georgia Hunter Jumper Association and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the past several years. He also serves as a member of the USHJA Zone 4 Committee. Jay is committed to continuing the development of horse shows in the Southeast by providing events with excellent judging, staff, and course design.

Jacob RobersonTechnical coordinatorJacob Roberson has been with The Co. since 2016. He serves as the technical director and is responsible for overseeing multiple areas of the companies operations. Jacob grew up as an exhibitor and has since shifted his equestrian career to focus on horse show production. Jacob is also the designer and builder of all Cheryl & Co. jumps. If you are looking for beautiful quality jumps for your farm, he should be your first call.
